If so, then why not become a member of the Waubeka Volunteer Fire Department.

We are always interested in good, law abiding citizens to join our organization.
We have three ways that you may consider joining:

** Become a fulltime active member as an Emergency Medical Technician. **

As an EMT you will be trained by some of the best professionals in the area with
decades of experience. Your instructors will include Paramedics, ER personnel
and other EMT’s. You will learn skills that can be used in your day to day life.
All training is fully paid by the department upon successful completion
and you will be licensed through the state of Wisconsin as and EMT.

** Become a fulltime active member as a Firefighter. **

Your training as a firefighter is one semester and can be broken into two. You will be
trained by the areas top experts in firefighting safety with numerous hands on
exercises. All training is fully paid by the department upon successful comp-
letion and you will be certified through the state of Wisconsin as a firefighter.

** Become an Associate Member. **

Do you have a valuable skill or talent? The Waubeka Volunteer Fire Department
is always looking for people that can help. Associate members are members that are not
trained as an EMT or Firefighter. However, they do play an important role in the department.
They are attorneys, mechanics, accountants, doctors, nurses and other people with special
skills that help support the day-to-day operations of the fire department.
